Junior Rush’s debut in the music scene came rather unexpectedly in 1997, when at the age of 17 he became resident Dj in the biggest and hottest dance club of Greece at the time. Amfiteatro! It was there that he had the chance to develop his sets playing for 5.000 people every night and work with great names of the international music dance scene for the first time. Junior Rush continued a residency at Kingsize club. It is there that he became well known as he had the privilege to open for every guest. Elite Djs passed through the decks of both clubs and Junior Rush was always there listening, learning, improving and adjusting his own sets. The variety of guests ( such as Danny Tenaglia, Sasha, David Morales, Satoshi Tommie,John Digweed, Frankie Knuckles, and many others ) gave him the advantage to be up to date with all kinds of the music scene along with the ability to easily adapt to the rhythms of time playing House, deep, progressive, tribal or trance according to the circumstances.Junior Rush earned great experience and learned to sense crowd’s feelings, read their reactions and give them what they really want. Crowd’s happiness and satisfaction became for him top priority and till now that’s what Junior Rush is looking for every time he is on decks. People know it and adore him for that. In the year 2000 Junior Rush had a successful summer season as a resident at the famous Remezzo club in the island of Mykonos. That was his first step creating his international profile. From that point on people awaited his appearance. His reputation had already expanded in Greece and he was invited to play as guest in various cities around the country. Next step in his carrier was club Venue. Until today Junior Rush is resident in the best dance stage of Greece. He creates unique, unforgettable parties with exploding atmosphere especially the ones by the name “Staydeep” Those parties are talked about and strongly anticipated by Athens Clubbers. Junior Rush also had the chance to cooperate with more top Djs. Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Nick Warren, Paul Oakenfold, Seb Fontaine, Hernan Cattaneo, Deep Dish,… They all shared decks with him in major dance events held during the Athens 2004 Olympiad. In 2005 Junior Rush released his first cd compilation under the name “Feel the Rush”. As his reputation grown Junior Rush established his “Staydeep” Parties in a weekly basis. It was that same year when Junior Rush earned his first gigs in the United States: Club deep,Glow,Viskaya,58,Temple,Cienna where some of the spots where Junior Rush introduced him self to the New Yorkers. In the year 2007 Junior Rush returns to Mykonos where he becomes the resident Dj for the world known Club ASTRA . A residency which held for a decate transforming Astra Bar into an international Dancefloor.. From April till early October Junior Rush is spinning in the most popular club in front of an ecstatic crowd. In 2008 Junior Rush released his second cd compilation.This time he choses to give his compilation the name of his well known parties “Staydeep” a name which also is his personal motto. Establishing his name in Mykonos Junior Rush also enjoys in the year 2012 a second residency at the most famous Club in Greece and one of the most known all over the world(ranked #13 at djmag’s list) Cavo Paradiso Again there he has the chance to play for massive crowds coming from all over the world. Music has changed and once again Junior Rush has adapted Cavo Paradiso gives him the chance to host nights of his own and also perform with super star DJ’s such as Axwell,Alesso,W&W,Nervo to name a few Progressive Electro EDM and Deep House are Junior Rush’s always favorites and he proves it in numerous production tracks he releases as a Dj and Producer and in parties around Greece, New York, London, Cyprus and anywhere else he becomes guest. Some Djs do not forget their responsibility against the ”Dance Floor”. That has nothing to do with mixing certain tracks from certain labels. It’s about making that “Dance floor” jump! It’s about earning crowd’s cheer and respect, create atmospheres and nights that people will praise for a long time. Junior Rush is simply one of them…
